Klamath River Fish Report for 1-10-2010

It was a tough day on the river today. My client Robert hooked three Steelhead on the fly and all three spit the fly back. The water is very cold and the Steelies are not very aggressive right now. You have to work the water very slow to get bit. The weather has been all over the place since Christmas, sub freezing temps mixed with wind rain and snow as well as temps as high as 51 and sunny. I'm thinking its time to hit Lake Siskiyou for some better fishing.
