Fall Rainbow Trout action on Shasta Lake

Shasta Lake Rainbow Trout have moved up from the deep water and were feeding like crazy on baby shad right on the surface, this past week. One of my favorite methods is top lining plugs or spoons while trolling and listen for the scream of drag while way hing the rod double over. It is a such blast.
