Northern California has many gorgeous rivers and lakes to enjoy: The Klamath River, the Wild and Scenic Smith River, Trinity River, as well as, McCloud, Medicine, Shasta, Siskiyou lakes just to name a few. Bass, salmon, steelhead and trout are a few of the many different species of fish that can be caught.

Klamath River
Fall Salmon Season - August thru October
Winter Steelhead - upper river November to March
Trout - year round
Lake Siskiyou
Bass, Brown and Rainbow Trout - Year Round

Small Mouth Bass - Summer Months
McCloud Reservoir
Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout - Year Round

Shasta Lake
Bass, Brown and Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, King Salmon - Shasta Lake can be fished year round
*During the summer months Redding temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees. These months are also some of the best times to fish for Bass, Kokanee Trout and Salmon*
